College Farm Allotments plans

The Llandaff North Liberal Democrat Focus Team is seeking residents' views on plans to 'regenerate' College Farm Allotments.

Cardiff Council Lib Dem lead is considering options to develop some of the unused land at the site. Possible options for the land could include creating areas for public open space, potential allotment land, affordable and private housing.

Cllr. Ann Rowland-James want to know your views on the council's proposals for College Farm allotments so please lket her know what you think!

College Farm Allotments, Llandaff North : Surplus allotment land adjoining the Gabalfa estate has been assessed in terms of potential re-use. Development of part of the site for residential purposes, and the retention of some land for amenity open space or future allotment provision is the preferred option.

Briardene, North Road : A development appraisal was undertaken for the site of the existing Road Safety Centre on North Road. Opportunities to relocate existing provision to the nearby Maindy Leisure Centre are under consideration. A high density residential development taking advantage of the mature landscaped grounds of Briardene has been recommended to maximise the site’s potential.

Pantmawr Inn to be demolished, 36 flats proposed - Whitchurch High School to be demolished - 60% of the site to be sold for building - this school site was originally 21 acres. County Hall to be sold off. Bus company to br 40% sold and do they have assets in land?
